Recognizing the influence and reach of Safaricom Ltd, the largest telecommunications company in Kenya, WOWZI leveraged its existing relationship with the company to recruit Kilimohai Ambassadors. The involvement of Safaricom staff was seen as a valuable asset to the overall objective of building Kilimohai knowledge and awareness. 25 staff members were eager to learn about organic farming and participated in the training.
After the training, the influencers applied their newfound knowledge and skills by visiting different organic farmers’ markets to create content for their social media. They also participated in the Kilimohai Basket Delivery campaign, where they received Kilimohai Care packages from retailers such as Sylvia’s Basket or Bridges Restaurant.
