The primary goal of Miss Universe Campaign was to inspire interactions and facilitate joint content creation between digital creators (influencers) and farmers. The campaign brought together a group of influencers from the Miss Universe Kenya program and farmers from Murang’a County. The influencers were given a unique opportunity to experience the inner workings of an organic farm, learn about organic farming practices, and create content pieces around their farm experiences.

The first training session was conducted by the Community Sustainable Agriculture and Healthy Environment Program (CSHEP), a member of the Kenya Organic Agriculture Network (KOAN). This training took place at Munyaka Meadows, an organic farm owned and operated by Peter Kamau, located in Karura, Kiambu County.

Key Lessons

The training was well-executed, suggesting the potential for future sessions focusing on educating influencers about organic farming. There is a need for better preparation and clear communication of campaign objectives before training sessions to ensure all participants understand the goals. Strategic planning is essential for amplifying campaigns, ensuring that content reaches a broader audience effectively.
